Whitsundays

Whitsundays - It's time to Island hop!

Made up of 74 beautiful Islands, the Whitsundays were named by Captain Cook after a Christian holiday that takes place 7 weeks after Easter, funnily enough, the day he names them, it was actually Monday as he had not adjusted for the change in time zones. So technically they should have been named Whitmonday Islands, you can keep that as free pub fact ammo. The next one will cost you! Like Captain Cook, we believe the Whitsundays are best experienced via SailBoat. Obviously sailing has become a little less stressful since the Pirate era, the Captain doesn’t need a hand, instead, guests are free to laze around on the day beds or hammocks, use the stand up paddle boards, snorkeling equipment or walk the plank.. *Sorry, Jump off the dive platform. 2 days cruising around these islands and you should hit full Zen.
