Airlie Beach

Airlie Beach - A backpackers Dream

Airlie Beach is the gateway to the Whitsundays Islands. A palm-fringed oasis that is the meeting ground for any number of epic adventures from Sailing, Seaplane Experience, Whale Watching, Scuba Diving to SkyDiving, it is near impossible to not love this place! Water related activities are not all this place has to offer though.. From Alfresco Restaurants, to the weekly Market, this place has something for everyone. If you want to get the heart rate up, there are some epic hike trails through the hinterland which result in some unbelievable views! Party Animals have no fear, there are quite a few options to get loose! Our suggestion is start at Shed Bar, meet some other travelers then head to Boom Nightclub for a boogie. Just don’t go too hard the night before a Sailing trip, nobody wants to hear complaining about being “Sea sick” the morning after.. We were not born yesterday, You brought this on yourself!
