Did you know there are over 33 thousand species of fish in the world? Scientists are still discovering on average 250 new species every year! Us humans have done a pretty good job of destroying what mother nature has to offer on land so inquisitive people get involved in diving and snorkeling. Most of us have spent a good few hours on the couch watching the King, Sir David Attenborough, explain the wondrous features of animals and mammals we have never even seen before! But getting amongst it is the only way to truly appreciate how amazing this planet really is. The world’s biggest living organism, The Great Barrier Reef, is conveniently located on a small boat trip off the North East coast of Australia but if we don’t curve global warming, that may not be the case within 20 years. The first thing humanity needs to do is to see and understand global warming individually and what better way than to go diving and explore the beautiful but fragile ocean ecosystem.
