Noosa

Noosa - The Sunshine Coast

Noosa is nothing shy of a Getaway Oasis. If Good Vibe Hunters had to name the ultimate dream location, it would want to be Noosa on a beautiful and calm sunset night. This is the spot where you rent out a daybed on the beach, lock into that book you always said you would read and reach full chill mode. If the swell is right, it plays host to one of the longest surfable waves in the world! The Vibe in this town is hard to put into words, you just have to experience it yourself. Like Byron, it is littered with Boutique Shops and cool Coffee hangouts. The Beachfront Surf Club is a must for a Sunset Parma and Beer if you appreciate the Aussie tradition! Although it feels like a sleepy beach town during the day, that doesn’t mean there is nothing for those night owls among us, nestled in between the shops are a plethora of merry making options, from quirky bars to full blown nightclubs, the night is your oyster.

Last time we visited, the line was a tad long to get into the club, so we found an adult version of timezone. A drink package and 1 hour free games made for the most epic basketball shootout competition of all time. I went down in the air hockey championship in dramatic fashion which I am still dirty about and will no doubt be using the GVH guests as training partners to get back at you Jimmy, if you are reading this, I’m coming for you. Noosa 2022, you lose the title buddy.

GVH’s insider tip

If you want to take in the sights, the best place in the whole town is a little spot called Laguna Lookout. It’s behind Hastings Street at the very top of Noosa Hill. You’ll be able to see the entire town and enjoy it for free. You’ll also spot the
world-famous Coloured Sands.

Fun fact

Before Noosa became what it is today, it was originally a sleepy little fishing village beside the sea. Its population was tiny, and it wasn’t very well known. Government funded its complete makeover a couple years back because it saw the
potential in its beauty.

Why Visit Noosa?

Noosa has grown in our hearts as a silent warrior for tourists because it’s a beautiful rest-stop between the big city destinations that are much more famous and attract millions more visitors. You can experience the same activities like diving spots with spectacular views but enjoy them with the fraction of drivers.
