Hiking - Waterfalls
Byron Bay, Gold Coast, Noosa, Yamba, Magnetic Island, Cairns
After all this time spent indoors, we know that good vibe hunters are on the prowl for fresh air and long walks. There are thousands of well-maintained hiking trails in Australia. Many of them are in protected parks and some of them can be found in nature. This activity is one of the easiest to take part in because it’s free and easily accessible. GVH has done the research and spent the time to round up a short list of the most famous trails in the country. Some of them will have you walking wild islands, past clifftop waterfalls or along sandy coastlines.
- Begin a hike at the southern entrance of Cooloola Great Walk, located in Noosa North Shore
- Hike along Cape Byron to the Byron Bay lighthouse
- Visit the three World Heritage-listed national parks in the Gold Coast: Tamborine Mountain, Springbrook, and Lamington.
