Sailing

True sailing is one of the most soul filling experiences, using the natural wind to propel you on your journey with no engine assistance comes with a feeling of satisfaction that is very difficult to replicate in any other activity. Sailing anywhere is amazing, but sailing the Whitsundays, is a once in a lifetime experience. The Whitsundays provide a cocktail of clear aquamarine waters, pearly white beaches, and forested islands all while floating on the underwater wonderland of the Great Barrier Reef. Boats are sheltered by the reef, there’s a constant cool breeze that refreshes all aboard and the waters are always calm which is the perfect condition for sailing. This is the only way to explore the islands in our opinion and that’s why we’ll spend 2 days cruising in our GVH tours. Most boats follow a similar route and it’s a trip to Whitehaven beach combined with the opportunity to snorkel or dive on the reef, on the way.
